Holidays!
You know the interesting thing about the Holidays, especially Christmas? People become the biggest assholes and bitch about everything during a holiday meant for family and enjoying life. I went out today, why not, after all, I've been finished with my holiday shopping for a few weeks now, did it all in one weekend. So it was a nice experience to be out there and not be rushed, worry about getting things done, being one of the moronic thousands out there. The thing is, I saw people at say 8:30 who are bitching about the crowds and the stock in stores. First off all, you chose to get up early, shut up you jackass. Second, we all know the stores stock maybe 2-4 of an item advertised, they are assholes that way, especially the electronics stores. So why would you bitch, of course it isn't in and of course they have something similar that is more expensive, have you shopped in the United States in the past 50 years? It surprises me and sometimes it doesn't when people are pissed about lines and such, what did you think would happen, the line instantly opens up for you, the almighty asshole of the universe? Come on people, I could be a millionaire for every stupid, obnoxious comments I have heard, not to mention the way people treat retail peole, you wonder why customer service is no longer the customer is always right, it's now the customer is right when we allow it, and for a god damn good reason. I love the holidays, especially christmas, so this won't get me down, but to all of those who bitch or better yet don't bother to tip people in the service or retail industry, go fuck yourself and I hope you experience years worth of pain and suffering, to everyone else Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.

UPS SUCKS!!
UPS sucks, in case you missed the heading. With the holidays coming I like to buy online, less interaction with assholes, problem, they seem to work for UPS as well. Yesterday was a notice that I missed a pkg., another one had come on wed. as well. They were to deliver it today between 10:30 and 2:00, no show. I call to ask what the hell is going on and I am told they have until 7 pm to deliver the pkg. Little hint, don't put a god damn time option on the slip then, this is why fedex rules, they will leave the pkg if I am not home and they are fast, unlike UPS. I tell the lady it's not my problem they cannot do what they say they will do and that I worked my day around waiting for these pkgs. ones I need. She says sorry but, that's when I hung up on her. Why,. you might ask? Because when they go sorry but, it never ends good and I usually start belittling her/him and reminding them they suck, in many words and expletives. Even better though, the UPS guy is a moron and marks first attempt when it is the 2nd and today the last, as if this is my fault he cannot read or do arithmetic, I have the feeling I'll be sharing my ill nature with the companies I ordered from so they can get crabby and pissed off like I am, that way everyone is in the same boat. Gotta love it.

An interesting Fact:
Today I thought about technology, more specifically cell phones. It's interesting how they have changed and how providers have also, so I looked back over all the phones I have owned, it was definitely interesting to me. Thought I would share, since 1997 when I decided to finally get my first cell phone here's teh breakdown of all of them I have owned.
Nokia - 6
Motorola - 3
Sony Ericsson - 2
Kyocera -1
Sanyo - 6
Samsung - 4
Denso - 3
I think I may have forgot a few, but the total is around 26 phones, anyone out there done this.

Things Change:
Many times in everyone's life, things change, especially in jobs. Recently a company I work with, I won't mention who, has gone through a lot of changes. Many are good, some of have been bad, with any changes comes layoffs and role changes. Today I just found out that a certain someone at the company was let go today without warning and after 8 years. WTF? She, acccording to many people who have worked with her, is the reason the company has stayed together the way it has. Me and the others who worked with her agree that she got things done, did it fast and was just great. Nobody knows why she was let go or who will take over, which is not good because myself along with others have many things we need taken care of immediately. The other sad thing is that many of us are wondering what this means for us, are we next to be told they don't want to work with us or will something else come about? The problem I have is that in this economy of hardship that we have today, don't let bushy and his bastards fool you, our economy sucks. My problem to continue is that nobody trusts corporate america, can you blame them? Now I have to question where are things headed with this company and how is this all going to effect me? I swear I keep considering moving to another country where hard work is appreciated and they enjoy the arts and honor them, along with education.
Any thoughts?

Education:
A question for all. How would you rate the Education you received, 1. K-12 public or private school if you were lucky. 2. Your college education. Did you receive a good education? Did it suck? Do you wish you never went 20k in debt for college? Do you still have trouble with fractions? The reason I ask this is because here in MN we were at that time of year for levies, money for schools. Now many people wanted the levies to fail, others wanted them to pass. I see both sides, me personally I voted yes, I would rather have smart kids for our future not dumb ones. I think the problem is that the school boards at the district level need to be monitored better. No more hiring your buddy for a job, no more assistants to people, that's a lot of salaries that could buy books, supplies, many other things for education. What's your opinion mighty readers.

Cigars and Alcohol Ramblings: not quite as restricted as the title implies, but my god, with a title like that, why would you not go clickety-clickety-click?"

Now it's Fun:
Today was just one of those great days. Work went pretty damn well and here in MN, it was awesome. Snow was falling and I couldn't be more happy. Only a couple of things that need to be straightened out with people. First off, clean your back window off, I'd rather see your face from behind instead of when you spin out. Second, this is for everyone, do not listen to headphones while driving, there is a reason this is against the law. Other then that, let the snow fall, here in my part of MN we can often get up to 40 inches in a weekend, I cannot wait for that.
